Prathiba M.R. , an energetic Architect & passionate professional, has an extensive background in Architecture, and Professional experience in managing multiple design projects under prestigious Architectural firms, as a freelance Architect & Architectural Design consultant, as Resident Architect for Renowned builders & as an Entrepreneur.
She has handled more than 170+ projects in various categories of Residential, Commercial, Hospitality & Healthcare sectors with a total design area of more than 15 lakh Sq. ft. She is well known in the industry for her patience, dedication and commitment towards her projects.
With her Expertise in coordinating all facets of design, she has proven success in leading multifunctional teams to achieve project goals with stringent time lines and in achieving a high degree of client satisfaction.
Prathiba, is a native from a small town, Nagapattinam and was brought up in a business family who are in to Textiles since 1940. She has completed her Bachelor of Architecture from Madras University in the year 2000. She has also received Honors in her Associate degree in Interior Design from Penn Foster College at USA in the year 2015. She has been recognized with "Summa cum Laude"_ as a Mark of Distinction from Delta Epsilon Tau International Honor Society in the year July 2015, for Excellent Academic Performance.
Prathiba started her career as a free-lance Architect in 2004, under the business name “The Silhouette”, & in 2017, reestablished her firm as P8 Architects.”
Prathiba is registered with COA (Council of Architecture), an Associate Member at IIID (Institute of Indian Interior Designers), and is registered as Grade-1 Architect with CMDA (Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority). She is a member of Satyabhama Alumni Association.
Prathiba is involved in Educational Institutions as Visiting Faculty and External Examiner in SEAD- SRM school of Architecture and ASOA- Anand school of Architecture.
